Court's Daily Inspiration:
Good Morning Good ppl! It’s Trash Talk Thursday. But today at this very moment I don’t feel like talking trash. I have something I want you to think about/ponder. So just for today for this inspiration; it’s gonna be Think about it Thursday.
The other day I heard something that made me think. WORRY! It’s a useless and harmful emotion. It’s okay to have moderate concern for someone/something. But when u become overly concerned it turns into worry. Let me give u an example.
Healthy concern: you call your friend and they don’t answer right away like they usually do. You think, “Oh they may be busy right now. Maybe even on the toilet!”
Unhealthy concern/worry: you think, “OMG! Did they have a heart attack? Did they get into a car accident?
They call u bk 2 mins later and say they were just checkin the mailbox. What have you accomplished by worrying? Other than the fact that you raised your blood pressure, given yourself a headache, and almost underwent a panic attack???
Exactly! You accomplished absolutely nothing. Worry is a useless emotion that we all need to learn to control.
Learn to let go and let God. Hug somebody’s neck today.
